Ailanto takes as a reference the set of the work "Allegories" by the painter Brueghel the Elder to name and shape its new autumn-winter 2021-2022 collection.
Allegories, on display at the Prado Museum in Madrid, is one of the collaborations between Jan Brueghel the Elder and Rubens. It is a composition of paintings representing the allegory of the five senses: sight, taste, smell, touch and hearing.
It is characterized by the perfection and precision of the brushstrokes and the exquisite representation of the figures.
As is usual in Flemish painting, since earlier times with the Van Eyck brothers, the care for detail becomes a work of miniaturist painting.

Ailanto transfers some of the motifs from the paintings to his prints, developed with pictorial techniques... Thus, exotic birds, parakeets, cockatoos, nymphs and lovebirds are mixed with textures reminiscent of old wall textiles.
Fabrics that are drawn reminiscent of tapestries with thick landscapes in which tiny rabbits are hidden within a web of intertwined ferns.
Following its personal identity, Ailanto combines textures and prints by superimposing presses, combining wide and voluminous velvet coats with flowing floral print dresses, achieving a balanced combination.
