Ailanto Founders
Ailanto, an ornamental tree known as the "tree of heaven", is the brand created by twin brothers Iñaki and Aitor, recognized for its unique prints, handcrafted designs and use of fine materials.
Founded in 1995, both brothers graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Barcelona. Iñaki completed his studies with a degree in Fashion Design, while Aitor specialized in Landscape Architecture and Botany.
His passion for art and beauty reflects the precious worlds of painters, sculptors, and landscape artists from 19th and 20th century art movements.
The creative process begins with the design of the prints, which are developed using various painting techniques such as collage, tempera, watercolor, and oil. From these, the pieces of the collection are composed, where the prints, thanks to modeling techniques, create their own volumes.
