GOOD LUCK 2020 / 2021

Some Japanese Flowers by Kazumasa Ogawa, an 1896 book of hand-colored phototypes from the J. Paul Getty Museum collection, inspired Ailanto's creative directors to create their own archive of plants and flowers.

Ogawa's prints stand out as beautiful captures and an example of the perfect use of photographic printing processes, which he pioneered, combined with his delicate use of color.

To create the 'Good Luck' collection, they also looked at pagan myths, wishes, odes to happiness, fortune, and with them they propose the new collection of prints based on all of them.

Poppies, dandelions, shooting stars, clovers and fireflies are the protagonists and make up compositions in each of the prints that bring us closer to 'Good Luck'.
