AILANTO & COORDONNÉ
Coordonné is releasing a special collection of wallpapers to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Forty artists, one per year, express their universe and creative vision in 40 unique designs.
Ailanto has revived a print from its Summer 2018 collection, inspired by the works of Claude Monet. “Water Lilies” is a series of large panels on display at the Musée de la Olangerie in the Tuileries Garden. These immense canvases depict a lake inspired by the Givenny Garden, where Monet built a Japanese bridge over a pond filled with exotic plants.
Ailanto's design is developed using a mixed technique, combining watercolor marker strokes with tempera brushstrokes.
