AILANTO & COORDONNÉ
Coordonné publishes a special collection of wallpapers to celebrate its 40 years of history. 40 artists, one per year, express their universe and creative vision with 40 unique designs.
Ailanto recovers a print from its summer 2018 collection, based on the works of Claude Monet. "The Water Lilies" is a series of large panels on display in the Musée de la Olangerie, in the Jardin des Tuileries. These immense paintings represent a lake with water inspired by the Garden of Givenny, where Monet built a Japanese bridge over a pond full of exotic plants.
Ailanto's design is developed in mixed technique, combining watercolour marker strokes with tempera brush strokes.
